Taiwan: Fujin Tree 353 Cafe and Fika Fika Cafe. Taipei

If you only have time to visit two coffee shops while in Taipei, then I would probably suggest that you come to these two. Fujin Tree as the name suggests it is located on the Fujin St. in the northern part of the Taipei City. A nice area itself for a visit and there are many other lifestyle stores to browse through as well. Not many options for cakes but they all look enticing and of a Japanese style. Plenty of options for coffee, including milk and single-origin coffee.

The second one is comfortably nestled beside a community park and their owner has won the championship for Nordic Barista Cup back in 2013. The shop now enjoys its fame, meaning there is constantly a queue to get in for a sip, particularly at the weekends. Dense chocolate cakes go really well with pure black coffee – chosen from the board. You can taste it in two temperatures – cold and hot at the same time. If you prefer milk coffee, they have good quality cups that surely won’t disappoint you. You can also take away bags of ground coffee and coffee making equipments as a nice souvenir for either yourself or somebody back home.
